这几天总和Kyle念叨：Kyle是大孩子了，应该自己go potty. 能go potty才能穿underwear才能升大班。于是有了如下对话。
me: Kyle, 圣诞节给爸爸送什么礼物呀？
Kyle： Diaper
me: 爸爸是大人不穿diaper。那你送爸爸什么呀？
Kyle: Underwear.

有了妹妹以后，Kyle的自我意识急剧膨胀，什么都想据为己有。MY Daddy，MY coat. MY cookie， MY car, MY, MY, MY。。。
早晨Kyle拉着妈妈对姥姥说：“This is MY mommy. NOT YOUR Mommy. Your Mommy is at work.”
姥姥随声附和：“对，我妈妈在做地下工作呢。”

Iris 满月啦！

历经一年半激烈的思想斗争，十月怀胎，八小时催产，我的小虎妞终于在10/13/2010出世了。她重7lb7oz，长19 inches. 小虎妞的英文名叫Iris。我们希望她有彩虹女神一样非凡的表达沟通能力，有鸢尾花一样美丽且顽强的生命力，如眼睛一样的珍贵。中文名“王思语”与英文名谐音会意。选择“思”是希望我们的女儿能有独立的思想，秀外慧中。

Iris出生后十三天就流眼泪了。比Kyle早了近一个月。难怪《红楼梦》里说女人是水做的。

Kyle对妹妹的出生表现出与他年龄相符的热忱和嫉妒：忙前忙后找尿布，扶着奶瓶给妹妹喂奶，告诉daycare小朋友和老师妹妹叫Iris，对姥姥说妈妈没有大肚肚了。 更粘爸爸了，经常强调“This is MY 爸爸/妈妈”，一次梦话居然说“不要Iris"。我对Kyle说：“妈妈给你生了小妹妹。这是妈妈这辈子给你的最好的礼物。”在美国生活虽然安逸，但毕竟远离故乡远离亲人。第一代移民勤奋努力也是别无选择，精神和经济上无所依靠。血浓于水。一想到兄妹俩小时候会成为好的玩伴，大了能相互支持依靠，我的辛苦也值得。
